Decorating with Blush Pink!

How do you feel about Blush Pink? Some people think that it's too girly. What do you think?

I love how the designer of the above room brought in some nature with the plants and that rugged wooden coffee table. It definitely "de-prettifies" (yes, I made it up) the room a bit.

My favorite room. I love the blend of patterns, textures, and the use of gold and silver. The deep blush pink is the perfect color to help accentuate the curves of the sofa!

All the rooms above are really feminine. I particularly like the room right above, because it's more modern than the rest. Clean lines and minimal color. It's also the room that I think could be more acceptable to men than the rest.

  1. I absolutely love pink. It is my favorite color! I am encouraging my husband to get a blush pink oxford shirt for work. I think pink looks so good on men too! I go gaga for business men in pink button-down shirts.

    1. LOL, thanks Catherine for dropping by!

I love pink. It's one of my fave too. I definitely like blush pinks than the hot pinks or the powder pink. It also looks better on a man than the other pink colors. What do you think?

  2. I'm warming up to this color, actually. The hubby? No so much, ha!

  3. I love these but my favorite has to be the 2nd image - so gorgeous. My boyfriend would definitely not allow for so much pink, though - haha!

    1. Hey Alex,
Thanks for dropping in! I, too, really love the 2nd pic. It will definitely take a lot of charm to get our men to even "ease into" that amount of space in a common area of the house. Maybe if he had his own man cave...

  4. I wasn't always a fan of pink, but as I've gotten older, I've really started to appreciate it more and more. The blush shade is subtle and delicate without being overbearing.

    1. Andrea,
I completely agree with you. I definitely think that blush pink is a lot more "minimal" and "grown up", too.

  6. Great blog! I love pink, I think it is a great color to decorate with or do anything else with for that matter :) I also agree with Catherine, there is nothing more sexier than a man that can wear pink confidently and stylishly.
